A Day Trip to Kuala Selangor

It's amazing how we can leave all the hectic lifestyle in KL and take a day trip to somewhere outskirt somewhere far from the city!! somewhere that is so relaxing that you can forget everything in KL and just sit back and relax enjoying every single bit of life!

Since it's Chinese New Year, it's time to visit relatives and back hometown therefore we took a day trip off to Kuala Selangor (my boyfriend's mom hometown). We went to the fishing village where all his relatives are there. It was AMAZING!

The fishing village was located near the river towards the sea. All houses were built by the river side the structure of the houses were made of old wooden logs! (Though some have already change to brick houses) but mostly there are wooden log houses!! The feeling of being in the "Kampung" has never been this great!

The moment I step down from the car the cooling wind has NEVER stop whirling and blowing! The feeling of dashing of cooling breeze on your face you can never find it in KL.. We sat at the edge of the bridge where fishermen load their fishes daily enjoying the view and the breeze!

Enough of the view and the breeze! Its time to eat! The marvelous of all.. SEAFOOD! lunch for seafood dinner for seafood.. the seafood is so delicious and fresh. We ate almost all seafood we can have..prawn, crab, snails, fish, clams.. It is heavenly eating good food by the river side!

After Lunch, it was a hot sunny day but with wind non stop whirling around us, we decided to take a trip to the town for famous coconut drink by the road side! WOW..the coconut drink was sweet and refreshing especially when you eat by the road side with many others.. It is calm, relaxing and Just do nothing! ..

After dinner, we headed back to KL.. It was a real great experience in Kuala Selangor! hope to go there again very soon..
